Bush misses season finale: As expected, Miami RB Reggie Bush is listed among the inactives for Week 17 against the Jets because of a knee injury. Bush was ruled out for Sunday's game after being unable to practice last week with the issue, which he suffered in Week 16 against New England. He had posted 100 rushing yards in four consecutive games before being sidelined for the last game of the season. RB Daniel Thomas will start in his place. (Updated 01/01/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Bush's absence is a huge blow for Miami. He was enjoying a sterling year and topped 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career (1,086). His rushing total was also good for ninth most in the NFL. It doesn't appear his injury is a long-term issue and Bush should be fully prepared for next season. Fantasy owners should consider healthier options for Week 17 while viewing Bush as a possible early-round draft pick in 2012. (Updated 01/01/2012).
