Cromartie shakes off head issue: Jets defensive back Antonio Cromartie posted three tackles and a pass defended during New York's 17-10 win over Jacksonville in Week 14. Cromartie has now batted down 12 passes this season to match his total from last year as three have gone for interceptions. He shadowed Jaguars top receiver Justin Blackmon for most of the game and limited him to a modest average of 9.5 yards per catch on six receptions.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Cromartie missed a couple plays in the fourth quarter after taking a hit to the head on a passing play. He was attended to on the sideline and reportedly went through a quick concussion test before he was cleared to return and finished the game without issue. The 28-year-old remains a key member of the Jets' defense, but his Fantasy value remains limited at this point in the season.

| When Darrelle Revis went down with a torn ACL last year in Week 3, Antonio Cromartie stepped up and played like an elite cornerback. That was great for the Jets and tough on the opposition, but it hurt his Fantasy value because teams stayed away from him. Revis is gone for good now with his trade to Tampa Bay, so that will hurt Cromartie's stats. He should not be drafted in most IDP leagues. (Updated 5/15/13) |
