Fantasy Analysis
Dumervil has been a solid pass rusher since joining the league in 2006 and has posted double-digit sacks three times. He also does a decent job with tackles so consider the 27-year-old a viable option in the majority of Fantasy IDP formats in Round 2 against the Patriots. When he faced New England in Week 15, Dumervil finished with two tackles. (Updated 01/08/2012).
After missing the 2010 season with a torn pectoral muscle, Broncos defensive lineman Elvis Dumervil returned in 2011 with a solid year. Dumervil had 42 tackles (31 solo) with 9.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. He now has at least 8.5 sacks in four of the five full seasons he has played in the NFL. Dumervil should be considered a solid No. 2 defensive lineman in all IDP leagues, and he is worth drafting with a mid-round pick. (Updated 4/25/12)
