(5/29/12) The Patriots released receiver Anthony Gonzalez on Tuesday. He was signed by the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent from Indianapolis on March 17.

(3/19/12) Wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, the former Colts first-round draft pick, signed with the Patriots as a free agent Saturday. Gonzalez caught 94 passes for 1,240 yards and seven touchdowns over his first two seasons but was limited to 11 games and five receptions due to injuries over the past three years.
