Preseason Outlook

Not much from Grant in playoffs: Packers RB Ryan Grant did not see a ton of touches in the Divisional Playoff game against the Giants on Sunday. He gained 33 yards on eight carries and caught three passes for 17 yards in the 37-20 loss. He also lost a fumble. Grant had a long run of 19 and averaged 4.1 yards per carry. He finished third on Green Bay in rushing behind QB Aaron Rodgers (66 yards) and RB James Starks (43 yards). (Updated 01/15/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Grant saw more carries than Starks on Sunday but was not as productive as his fellow RB. Due to the two splitting carries all season long, he rushed for 559 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season and also had a score through the air. The 29-year-old will not be able to get back over the 1,000-yard mark as long as Starks is in Green Bay, which limits his value in Fantasy. Consider Grant a No. 2 or 3 Fantasy RB on Draft Day in 2012. (Updated 01/15/2012).
