Hall done for the season: Cincinnati DB Leon Hall will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on injured reserve with a torn left Achilles tendon. Hall suffered the injury during the second quarter of Week 10 against Pittsburgh and was on crutches following the game. "I was kind of by myself," Hall said about the play he hurt himself on. "I just kind of planted and drove. It felt like somebody kicked me." (Updated 11/14/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Hall's injury is a huge blow to the Bengals secondary as he was one of the NFL's top defenders with 32 tackles and two interceptions. He also had signed a $39-million contract extension last September. Fantasy owners should drop him in all formats for now. (Updated 11/14/2011).
05/18/2012 11:36 Bengals sign 1st-round pick CB Dre Kirkpatrick
Following first-rounders Stephon Gilmore and Quinton Coples, who signed with the Bills and Jets on Friday, the Bengals' top pick, cornerback Dre Kirpatrick, is the latest to ink his rookie deal, the team has announced.
Leon Hall hopes to be ready for the start of the season after suffering a torn Achilles' tendon in Week 10 of last season, but it's no lock he'll be there. Hall previously never missed a game in his career and has routinely been a good tackle producer but an excellent pass defense stat deliverer. Feel free to draft him to stash on your bench with a late-round pick, but there's a realistic chance he's unable to play at the start of the season, and questions about how effective he'll be will remain even once he's cleared for action.
