| Fantasy Analysis |
Hawk has been a better source of tackles than sacks this season, averaging 8.3 in his last six games. He doesn't get as much attention as teammate Clay Matthews does, but he's a worthy Fantasy IDP starter in his own right.

Packers president Mark Murphy defends quiet offseason
The Packers didn't make a big splash in free agency, but team president Mark Murphy says that was never the plan. Green Bay would rather spend big bucks on long-term extensions for its core players.

| A.J. Hawk was one of two Packers to total over 100 tackles in 2012, getting 120 of them. He pitched in three sacks and absolutely nothing else to go with it. Assuming he makes it to training camp with the Packers, Hawk still figures to be a high-producing tackling machine but with upside for little else. We would only consider Hawk with a late-round pick.
