Fantasy Analysis
Hawk has racked up 60 tackles with 1.5 sacks so far this season. He is fine for Week 15, but is just a low-end option in Fantasy IDP formats. (Updated 12/18/2011).
We saw A.J. Hawk return to Fantasy prominence last season with 111 total tackles, and now the hope is that he does it again in 2011. Hawk's a mixed bag as he's either been a good source of total tackles or a mild one. Helping his cause last year were his stats against the pass: Hawk had three interceptions and 10 passes defensed, both career-highs. It's tough to envision him doing that again, but he should come close. Your best bet is to draft Hawk with a middle- to late-round pick as a No. 2 Fantasy LB as there's still some risk involved in making him a key IDP draft selection. (Updated 5/2/11)
