Re-signing of Corey Hilliard provides insurance for Lions' line
The Detroit Lions agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with veteran tackle Corey Hilliard on Friday, according to ESPN. The re-signing could signal the departure of starting right tackle Gosder Cherilus. If Cherilus does not return to Detroit, Hilliard could compete with Jason Fox for the starting spot.
