|Report: Richie Incognito likely won't play again for Miami |
|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
(11/4/13) Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito, who has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team, isn't expected to play again for Miami, a source told The Miami Herald. The NFL is investigating allegations about Incognito's treatment of teammate Jonathan Martin, who left the team last week.
"He's done," a ranking club source said Monday. "There are procedures in place and everyone wants to be fair. The NFL is involved. But from a club perspective he'll never play another game here."

(11/3/13) Dolphins starting left guard Richie Incognito has been suspended indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the team," the team announced. According to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, Incognito was the "ring leader" of the treatment that helped prompt tackle Jonathan Martin to leave the team.
La Canfora said Incognito will remain suspended while the NFL and the Dolphins investigate the allegations against him.
|No dice: Antonio Smith appeal turned down |
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
(8/23/13) The NFL has denied a suspension appeal by Texans defensive end Antonio Smith, ESPN is reporting. He remains suspended through the first game of the regular season for removing the helmet of Miami guard Richie Incognito and swinging it at him. Smith had denied swinging the helmet at Incognito, claiming instead that he stopped short of it.
Smith will be forced to sit out the last two preseason games as well as the opener and forfeit $400,000 in salary. He will be replaced as a starter by Tim Jamison, who has started just one game in four seasons with the Texans.

(7/26/13) It appears Dolphins starting right guard John Jerry is injured as he didn't practice Friday and coach Joe Philbin won't give an update on his health. The Miami Herald reports the team told rookie Dallas Thomas to be ready to work with the first-team offense.
On Friday, Thomas worked at left guard and Richie Incognito moved to right guard with the starters.
