Colts snare safety Landry: Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry became the newest addition to the Colts roster by signing a four-year contract. At 6-foot and 220 pounds, Landry should provide a more physical presence in a secondary that has traditionally been undersized. (Updated 3/14/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Landry had 100 total tackles last season for the Jets, the first time in his career he hit the century mark. He added eight passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two interceptions including one for a touchdown. The beastly safety has potential for this kind of production but also has some injury concerns as he's missed chunks of seasons in the past. Carefully consider him a No. 2 Fantasy DB with a mid- to late-round choice. (Updated 3/14/13). |

No need for Packers boss Murphy to explain quiet offseason
Green Bay president and CEO Mark Murphy this weekend defended the Packers' inactivity during the offseason, but he didn't need to defend anything. The Packers' typically aren't free-agent buyers, and that strategy has served them -- and others -- well over the years.

Dawan Landry meets with the Jets
Former Jacksonville Jaguars safety Dawan Landry met with the Jets on Wednesday, according to reports. Landry could fill the void left by his younger brother LaRon when the veteran safety signed with the Colts earlier this month. The Jets currently have one of the youngest safety tandems in the league.

| LaRon Landry signed with the Colts this offseason after spending last year with the Jets. In 2012, his lone year with the Jets, Landry had 100 total tackles (75 solo) with two interceptions, one defensive touchdown, four forced fumbles and eight passes defensed. The tackles were a new career high, and we hope he can build on this performance in 2013 in Indianapolis. Landry is worth drafting with a late-round pick in all IDP leagues. (Updated 4/26/13) |
