Niners defenders chip in Week 12: The San Francisco defense had a solid performance on Sunday in a Week 12 win over the Jaguars, beating Jacksonville 20-3. Standout linebacker Patrick Willis led the way, making 11 tackles and recording half a sack. Dashon Goldson was the second-leading tackler with nine tackles. Ray McDonald and Justin Smith both recovered fumbles in the game. Smith also had 1 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble. Takeo Spikes had six tackles and a sack. Parys Haralson finished the game with four tackles and 1 ½ sacks. Manny Lawson had a forced fumble and two tackles in the game.
