Report: Miller won't be ready for Week 1
by Dave Richard \| Senior Fantasy Writer (6/17/13) The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Steelers tight end Heath Miller might not be ready for the start of the regular season as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL along with other ligaments in his knee. Miller hurt himself late last December.

Miller unsure of return

Miller tore his ACL last December. “It's too far away to speculate,” Miller said. "One thing I've learned with this thing, it's a long process, (it's) still going to be a long process. You don't know how your body is going to react moving forward with this stuff. It's too early to tell."

Big Ben: Heath looks great
by Dave Richard \| Senior Fantasy Writer (4/18/13) Ben Roethlisberger told WDVE-FM in Pittsburgh that tight end Heath Miller is making great progress in his rehabilitation from a torn ACL suffered on Christmas Eve last year. "Heath is working out and he looks great," Roethlisberger said. "He's walking without a limp. From what I saw I think he looked good."

Steelers moving on from Miller?
by Jamey Eisenberg \| Senior Fantasy Writer (3/27/13) ESPN reports that Steelers tight end Heath Miller doesn't have a timetable to return after tearing his ACL in the second-to-last game. The Steelers are hoping to know by next month when they can expect Miller to return. This is the time when the Steelers need to think about drafting Miller's future replacement. He turns 31 during the season and will make $6 million in 2014, the final year of his contract.

Tomlin hopes Miller will be ready
by Jamey Eisenberg \| Senior Fantasy Writer (3/19/13) Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said at the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix on Tuesday that he wouldn't be surprised if tight end Heath Miller is ready for the start of the season. Miller, the team's leading receiver last season, ended his 2012 campaign with two torn knee ligaments that required surgery, the ACL and MCL, and damage to the PCL that will heal on its own. "He’s in the building on a day-to-day basis, aggressively attacking rehab," Tomlin said. "I wouldn’t bet against Heath in that regard but it is early in the process."
