Preseason Outlook

Norwood gets into the act: Active for the first time since Week 3 against Baltimore, Rams RB Jerious Norwood got into the action Week 12 against Arizona. Norwood backed up starting RB Steven Jackson in the performance as he saw some scattered carries throughout the game. Norwood rushed five times for 22 yards. He was targeted once in the passing game but did not make a catch. (Updated 11/27/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
While it was nice that Norwood got back into game action and it appears the Rams are happy with him backing up Jackson, he doesn't figure to become a factor in Fantasy play anytime soon. Plus, the Rams play against the 49ers in San Francisco Week 13 and that doesn't bode well for any of the St. Louis backs. The 49ers have allowed the fewest Fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season and the team has yet to allow a single rushing touchdown all year. Norwood is not a recommended Fantasy option in Week 13. (Updated 11/27/2011).
