Fantasy Analysis
Pollard has more than four tackles for the first time since Week 12. He starred in November when Tom Zbikowski was hurt, but has been sharing PT with him at strong safety in December. Despite the strong performance, Pollard is still a low-end Fantasy DB. (Updated 12/24/2011).
Bernard Pollard was one of the few bright spots in Houston's porous secondary this season as he finished with career-highs in tackles (111 total) and sacks (2.5). He doesn't offer much in terms of turnovers – he didn't have any interceptions in 2010 -- but was an excellent source for tackles all season long, and that's important in Fantasy Football. Though he finished as a No. 3 DB in 2010, we can't help but like Pollard as a good No. 2 option in drafts this summer, making him worth a mid-round pick. (Updated 5/2/11)
