Rogers makes nice recovery: San Francisco defensive back Carlos Rogers recorded two tackles and recovered two fumbles, including one he returned for a 51-yard touchdown during the fourth quarter, of the 49ers' 34-0 win over the Jets. It was his second touchdown in as many seasons with San Francisco.

After two disappointing seasons in Philadelphia, free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is headed back to the Bay Area. This time, though, he'll reportedly be playing for the 49ers.

After getting cut by the Eagles, corner Nnamdi Asomugha is struggling to choose his new team. A new report says he's torn between the 49ers, where he'd join an elite defense, and the Saints, where he'd be reunited with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.
