Seahawks 'careful' with Ruud: With the loss of linebacker David Hawthorne to the Saints, it appeared Barrett Ruud was being penciled in this offseason as the starting middle linebacker. However, coach Pete Carroll said Ruud is fighting through his recovery from groin, knee and shoulder issues. "He's coming back from all of that," Carroll said.
