Sims has big outing in spot start: Colts LB Ernie Sims stepped into the starting lineup Week 15 against the Titans after LB Philip Wheeler was ruled out with a foot injury. Sims didn't waste his spot start. He led the team with eight solo tackles and 15 tackles total. (Updated 12/18/2011)

Sims hasn't played this well since he began his career with three straight 100-tackle seasons with the Lions from 2006-08. Unfortunately, Sims is headed back to the bench as soon as Wheeler is healthy. Consider Sims a stopgap Fantasy LB if Wheeler is out again Week 16. (Updated 12/18/2011).
