Preseason Outlook

Snelling does little on Monday night: Falcons RB Jason Snelling did little on offense in the Week 16 Monday night loss at New Orleans. Snelling caught four passes for 28 yards, and was targeted five times by QB Matt Ryan. Snelling did not get a carry in the game. (Updated 12/27/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
With Turner healthy, Snelling doesn't get much run from the Falcons. Snelling's best effort of the season came Week 10 against the Saints, but he didn't duplicate that against them Week 16. Heading into Week 17, the Falcons need to keep winning, so Turner is expected to see the bulk of the work. Snelling's Fantasy value is low against Tampa Bay Week 17, despite the Buccaneers allowing the most Fantasy points per game to opposing RBs. Snelling did not score a Fantasy point against the Buccaneers when the two teams met Week 3 of this season. (Updated 12/27/2011).
