Saints reach deal with DE Anthony Spencer

|(4/10/15) The Saints signed defensive end Anthony Spencer to a one-year contract Friday, the team announced.
Spencer has spent his entire eight-year career playing for the Cowboys. After he played in only one game during the 2013 season because of a knee injury, Spencer returned in 2014 and played in 13 games and totaled 12 sacks.

|(3/24/15) Defensive end Anthony Spencer is set to visit the Saints on Tuesday, according to the Times-Picayune.
Spencer, formerly of the Cowboys, hasn't started a game since 2012 despite playing in 14 contests the last two seasons. The 31-year-old has compiled 385 total tackles, 33.0 sacks, 14 passes defensed and 13 forced fumbles in his eight-year career.

|(3/17/15) Free agent defensive end Anthony Spencer is visiting the Seahawks, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Spencer, 31, has spent his entire career with the Cowboys. He played in 13 games last season, getting 22 tackles and half a sack.
His best year came in 2012 when he had 95 tackles, 11 sacks and four passes broken up in 14 games. He played only one game in 2013 before undergoing microfracture surgery on his knee.

|(3/10/15) Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer is drawing interest from multiple teams, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Spencer, 31, received the franchise tag from the Cowboys in 2012 and 2013. In 2012, he had a career-high 11.0 sacks.
After starting 14 or more games from 2009-2012, Spencer missed all but one game in 2013 after undergoing microfracture surgery on his knee. Despite playing in 13 games last season, he did not start even one.
Going into his ninth season, he has tallied 385 total tackles, 33 sacks and 13 forced fumbles.

|(11/7/14) The Cowboys have unveiled its final injury report for Sunday's clash in London against Jacksonville. Tyrone Crawford (knee) was the only player on the list ruled out for the game. Nick Hayden (shoulder) and Rolando McClain (knee, groin) were deemed questionable.
Tony Romo (back), arguably the most notable name on the report, practiced in full Friday and was ruled probable for Sunday. The following players also received the green light and were labeled probable: Bruce Carter (finger), Barry Church (shoulder), Jack Crawford (calf), Doug Free (foot), Jack Hanna (hamstring), Anthony Hitchens (chest), Ronald Leary (groin), Jermey Parnell (chest) and Anthony Spencer (knee, foot).
