Fantasy Analysis
Ware has dealt with the neck issue for the past few weeks, but has remained on the field. The menacing linebacker is currently second in the NFL with 18 sacks this season. Consider him a must-start in all Fantasy IDP formats for Week 17. (Updated 01/01/2012).
DeMarcus Ware continues to be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He has double digits in sacks in each of the past five years with 80 for his six-year career. We like Ware as a No. 2 Fantasy LB in IDP leagues, and he's worth a mid-round pick. His tackle totals bring down his value since he averages only 70 total stops a season, but it's hard to find a better LB at getting after the opposing QB. (Updated 5/3/11)
