Ware says shoulder's OK: Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware expects to be ready for training camp this summer after telling the Fort Worth Star-Telegram he has regained full motion in his right shoulder. He's begun lifting weights and hopes to practice on a limited basis in the Cowboys' upcoming minicamp. Ware will move from linebacker to DE as part of the Cowboys' new 4-3 defense, a move that he thinks will be a piece of cake. "I think it's going to be an easy transition," Ware said. "There are three or four defensive fronts you've got to learn. Everything else comes off of technique and effort." (Updated 4/22/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Ware's move to the D-line will give his Fantasy value a much-needed boost. Whereas he was a good but not always a great Fantasy linebacker because of his tackle production, Ware now serves as a solid Fantasy DL because he'll be able to keep up fine tackle numbers at a position thin on heavy-tackle stats. He's basically worth an early- to middle-round pick so long as he enters training camp on-time. (Updated 4/22/13). |
| DeMarcus Ware continues to be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He has double digits in sacks in each of the past seven years with 110 for his eight-year career. We like Ware as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy linebacker in IDP leagues, and he's worth a mid-round pick. His tackle totals bring down his value because he averaged 49 total stops a season for the past three years, but it's hard to find a better linebacker at getting after the opposing quarterback.
