Fantasy Analysis
Ware has dealt with the neck issue for the past few weeks, but has remained on the field. The menacing linebacker is currently second in the NFL with 18 sacks this season. Consider him a must-start in all Fantasy IDP formats for Week 17. (Updated 01/01/2012).
DeMarcus Ware continues to be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He has double digits in sacks in each of the past six years with 99.5 for his seven-year career. We like Ware as a middle- to low-end No. 2 Fantasy linebacker in IDP leagues worth a mid-round pick. His tackle totals bring down his value since he averaging only 69 total stops a season for the past three years, but it's hard to find a better linebacker at getting after the opposing quarterback. He's a No.1 option in leagues that don't count tackles. (Updated 4/20/12)
