Whitner finds the end zone vs. Saints
by Adam Moore \| CBSSports.com (11/26/12) 49ers defensive back Donte Whitner found the end zone for the first time this season in Week 12 against the Saints. Whitner stepped in front of a Drew Bress pass attempt and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown in the the third quarter. It was his first interception of the season and eighth of his career. He finished with eight tackles -- five solo -- in the 31-21 win and was also credited with a pass defended.
