|Bills D-line overwhelms Dolphins |
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
(9/15/14) The Bills defensive line dominated in Sunday's 29-10 win over the Dolphins in Week 2, as they combined for four sacks of quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
John Hughes, Kyle Williams, Mario Williams and Stefan Charles each had one sack in the win. Hughes also racked up five tackles, to lead the group.
|Bills defense racks up three turnovers in win vs. Bears |
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
(9/7/14) The Bills defense notched two sacks, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in the team's 23-20 win over the Bears in Week 1.
Even with Stephon Gilmore sidelined, the Bills got fine cornerback play in the win, with Leodis McKelvin recording 13 tackles and forcing a fumble, and Gilmore fill-in Corey Graham cutting in front of tight end Martellus Bennett for an interception. Defensive tackle Kyle Williams recorded the team's second pick on a pass over the middle. The Bills will look to build off the strong showing against a very good offense when they face the Dolphins at home in Week 2.
|Leg issue keeps Kyle Williams out of Thursday session |
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
(8/21/14) A leg injury has kept Bills deensive tackle Kyle Williams off the field Thursday. Williams started every game in 2013, racking up 68 tackles and 10 1/2 sacks.
|Kyle Williams is an interior defensive lineman, but he played well in 2013 with a career-high 10.5 sacks. He also added 68 total tackles (42 solo) and one fumble recovery. It will be difficult for Williams to repeat his performance from 2013, so ignore him in most leagues on Draft Day. But if he gets off to a good start with his sack total then add him off waivers or consider him a bye-week or injury replacement in IDP leagues.
