Bartell won't play scared: Raiders cornerback Ron Bartell said he has recovered "100 percent" after fracturing some small bones in his neck in the 2011 season-opener with the Rams. Bartell said he has no fears about playing this season. "When I had the injury, I didn't actually know that I had fractured my neck. It felt more like a stinger. We didn't find out that I had the fracture until I got the C-T scan. I never had to go through the anxiety of getting carted off the field or losing feeling or paralysis. ... I feel great. I'm just happy to be back on the field." (Updated 05/23/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
A while ago, Bartell was a decent Fantasy cornerback because he accrued a lot of tackles and pass defense stats as offenses kept throwing his way. We suspect more of the same will happen this year, making him a late-round sleeper. (Updated 05/23/2012).
