Bigby signs with the Bolts: The Chargers signed strong safety Atari Bigby to a two-year contract on Friday. The contract is reportedly worth $4.5 million. Bigby fills a major hole for the Chargers with Steve Gregory departing to the Patriots. "(Strong safety) is a position, when you look at our depth chart, where we are very thin," coach Norv Turner said earlier on Friday. (Updated 03/19/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Bigby has potential to put up some decent numbers if he starts for the Chargers but he's also injury prone. You're probably better off leaving him until the very late rounds in deeper Fantasy drafts. (Updated 03/19/2012).

Another SEC standout -- safety Brandon Taylor -- could also provide an immediate impact.
