Fantasy Analysis
Boley shined during the Giants' impressive postseason run and racked up 27 tackles and two sacks in four games. The 29-year-old also had 93 tackles during the regular season -- the fifth time in his seven-year NFL career he topped 80-plus stops. However, he doesn't produce too many sacks and Fantasy owners should consider him a low-end option in IDP formats for next season. (Updated 02/05/2012).
Michael Boley should be considered a good reserve linebacker in IDP leagues and is a solid one-week replacement during the year. In 2011, Boley finished with 93 total tackles (74 solo), one sack and three fumble recoveries. Those stats don't make Boley a starting-caliber linebacker in the majority of IDP leagues, but he could help as an injury replacement or during bye weeks in deeper formats. (Updated 4/24/12)
