Fantasy Analysis
Boley shined during the Giants' impressive postseason run and racked up 27 tackles and two sacks in four games. The 29-year-old also had 93 tackles during the regular season -- the fifth time in his seven-year NFL career he topped 80-plus stops. However, he doesn't produce too many sacks and Fantasy owners should consider him a low-end option in IDP formats for next season. (Updated 02/05/2012).
02/04/2012 15:24 Rating the teams: Comparing the Giants and Patriots, then and now
Four years ago, the Patriots were on the verge of history, the Giants scrappy underdogs. Comparing 2007 with 2011, Pete Prisco finds New York has gotten better while the Pats have regressed. What will it mean Sunday?
Michael Boley should be considered a good reserve LB in IDP leagues and is a solid one-week replacement during the year. In 2010, Boley finished with 86 total tackles (64 solo), one sack and one forced fumble. Those stats don't make Boley a starting-caliber LB in IDP leagues, but he could help as an injury replacement or during bye weeks in deeper formats. (Updated 5/2/11)
