Bengals keep linebacker Lawson: Linebacker Manny Lawson has re-signed with the Bengals. Lawson held down the starting strong-side spot all last season, finishing fifth on the team in tackles (78) during his first year in Cincinnati. Defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer thinks Lawson can improve. "He was very good against the run and in coverage, and this year I think we can take better advantage of him as a pass rusher," he said. Lawson only managed 1.5 sacks last season. (Updated 04/04/2012)
