Wrist no problem for Williams: Buffalo defensive lineman Mario Williams is active for Week 17 against the Jets as he continues to return to full strength following a wrist injury. Williams, who has dealt with the issue for most of the season, was listed as probable on the team's injury report. (Updated 12/30/12) |

Williams will be looking to halt a two-game stretch without a sack and add to his impressive season total of 10.5 sacks. It's the third time he has reached double-digits in sacks during his career and Fantasy owners should continue to keep him active in all IDP formats for Week 17. (Updated 12/30/12). |
| Mario Williams signed a monster six-year, $96 million contract before the 2012 season, but he failed to produce at that level. He did get 10.5 sacks to go with 48 total tackles (37 solo), two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles, but the Bills and Fantasy owners were probably expecting closer to 20 sacks. Williams played well, and this was the third time in his career he's had double-digit sacks. We still value him as a solid defensive lineman in IDP leagues, and his potential for double digits in sacks make him a valuable commodity at a thin position. He should be one of the first defensive ends off the board in the majority of leagues. (Updated 4/25/13) |
