Chiefs put TE Cottam on IR: The Chiefs placed TE Brad Cottam on injured reserve, ending his season. Cottam was hurt late in the team's Week 15 loss to the Browns, and it was discovered that he had a fractured vertebrae and will undergo further tests.

Fantasy Analysis

Cottam had eight catches for 109 yards over his last three games, a sign that he was getting involved in the Chiefs offense. Sean Ryan, Leonard Pope and Jake O'Connell will work to replace him until one emerges as a good receiving option. Suffice to say, don't trust any Chiefs tight ends in Fantasy right now.
