Packers dump Chillar: The Packers released LB Brandon Chillar on Friday because of a severely pulled hamstring sustained during personal workouts in the locked-out offseason. Chillar, who was also coming off shoulder surgery, was scheduled to make $2.6 million this year in salary and bonuses. (Updated 07/29/2011)
