Cardinals expected to reach out to Darnell Dockett to discuss his contract

|(2/18/15) Cardinals general manager Steve Keim told reporters the team missed Darnell Dockett in 2014, and that he'll reach out to the defensive lineman to discuss his contract, reports the Arizona Republic.
Dockett was lost for the season in August with a torn ACL. He has been with the Cardinals since 2004, registering 459 tackles, 40 1/2 sacks and seven forced fumbles. He has one year remaining on his current contract.
|Darnell Dockett is a low-end defensive lineman in IDP leagues. He has at least five sacks in three of the past seven seasons and at least 50 total tackles in five of the past eight years, but he struggled in 2013 with just 4.5 sacks and 46 total tackles (36 solo). We hope he can rebound this season, but he's only worth using as a No. 3 defensive lineman at best. He should only be drafted with a late-round pick in deep IDP formats.
