Fitz goes for 149, but suffers injury : Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald finished with nine receptions for 149 yards in Week 17 against the Seahawks, but apparently suffered a lung injury in the 23-20 win. Fitzgergald's father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., tweeted after the game that his son suffered a lung injury in the contest and was spitting up blood on the sideline. He also added that Fitzgerlad will undergo an MRI on Monday. However, the team said the 28-year-old underwent X-rays following the game, which came back negative. Fitzgerald did meet with the media after the game and did not mention anything regarding his injury.

Fantasy Analysis
The team also came out and said Fitzgerlad does not need an MRI, but will have a CT scan on his chest at some point. However, the good news is Fitzgerald seemed to be fine after the game and has already been cleared from having a collapsed lung. Despite his ailment, Fitzgerald turned in another monster season. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the six straight year, and finished with 80 receptions and eight touchdown receptions. While Fantasy owners should obviously continue his injury situation moving forward, the good news is he will have plenty of time to recover with the Cardinals now off until next year. As long as he is healthy, owners should have no qualms about scooping up Fitzgerald in the first few rounds in most formats next season.
