| LaBoy dumped by the Chargers |
| (5/8/12) The Chargers released outside linebackerTravis LaBoy on Monday. LaBoy joined the Chargers in 2011 as an unrestricted free agent. He played and started 14 games, finishing the season with 47 tackles and a sack. The move was somewhat expected after San Diego drafted OLB Melvin Ingram with the 18th overall pick. |

| (7/29/11) The Chargers announced Friday that they agreed to a two-year contract with pass-rushing LB Travis LaBoy. “Travis is an outstanding player. He brings experience and production to the position,” General Manager A.J. Smith said in an official release. “He is a relentless pass rusher and great competitor. It’s very exciting to add Travis to our pass rushing corps.” LaBoy has averaged about five sacks per season since he was drafted in 2004. |
