Fantasy Analysis
Phillips has tallied 36 tackles in 10 games for the Chargers this year and now has 3 1/2 sacks. He missed four games this year with a foot issue, but seems to finally be 100 percent. Fantasy owners in IDP formats should view Philliips as a low-end LB option at this stage of the season. (Updated 12/19/2011).
Shaun Phillips continues to do a good job for the Chargers and Fantasy owners. In 2010, Phillips had 55 tackles (47 solo) with 11 sacks and one fumble recovery. He also had an interception and a defensive touchdown. Phillips now has at least seven sacks in each of the past six years and 52.5 over that span. He is worth using as a No. 3 LB in IDP leagues and should be taken with a late-round pick on Draft Day. (Updated 5/3/11)
