Phillips also made his second interception of the season. San Diego would win the game, 34-14. (Updated 12/19/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Phillips has tallied 36 tackles in 10 games for the Chargers this year and now has 3 1/2 sacks. He missed four games this year with a foot issue, but seems to finally be 100 percent. Fantasy owners in IDP formats should view Philliips as a low-end LB option at this stage of the season. (Updated 12/19/2011).
Shaun Phillips had a down year in 2011, but we expect him to rebound this season in what should be a contract year. Phillips was limited to 12 games in 2011, and he finished with just 43 total tackles (30 solo), 3.5 sacks and two interceptions. It was the fewest sack total of his career and the first time since 2006 he failed to reach 50 total tackles. He should bounce back this year, and we consider him a No. 3 Fantasy linebacker with upside. He is worth drafting with a late-round pick, and he can be a spot starter or bye-week replacement in the majority of leagues. (Updated 4/25/12)
