Justin Forsett among notable questionables for Ravens in Week 14
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(12/5/14) The Ravens ruled out cornerback Tramain Jacobs (thigh) out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He was the only player on Baltimore's final injury report ruled out for Week 14.
Wide receiver Michael Campanaro (thigh), running back Justin Forsett (knee), tight end Crockett Gilmore (back) and linebacker Albert McClellan (thigh) were all deemed questionable. Forsett returned to practice Friday and is expected to play.
Meanwhile, the following players were ruled probable: Wide receiver Marlon Brown (concussion), tight end Owen Daniels (rest), linebacker C.J. Mosley (wrist), linebacker Daryl Smith (rest), wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee), linebacker Terrell Suggs (rest), defensive tackle DeAngelo Tyson (rest), linebacker Courtney Upshaw (hand) and center Jeremy Zuttah (ankle).

|(11/22/14) Only Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro (thigh) and tackle Jah Reid (hand) were listed as out for Monday night’s game at New Orleans, according to the team’s final injury report.
The Ravens also listed defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (not injury related), tight end Owen Daniels (not injury related), linebacker Terrell Suggs (not injury related), linebacker Daryl Smith (not injury related), fullback Kyle Juszczyk (foot) and guard Marshal Yanda (knee) as probable.
Ravens announce Week 8 inactives vs. Bengals
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(10/26/14) The Ravens have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Bengals: tight end Owen Daniels (wrist), defensive lineman Chris Canty (wrist), running back Bernard Pierce, cornerback Chykie Brown, linebacker Arthur Brown and offensive linemen Gino Gradkowski and Jah Reid.
Pierce's de-activation comes as a surprise, but he's averaged 2.1 and 2.6 yards per carry in the team's last two games, though he's scored a touchdown in each. The Ravens' goal-line looks could shift to Lorenzo Taliaferro with Pierce unavailable.
Daniels and Canty had already been ruled out, but the Ravens are otherwise very healthy heading into the key matchup against the Bengals. Four players listed as probable are active for the game, including Steve Smith (not injury related), linebacker Daryl Smith (not injury related) and offensive linemen Eugene Monroe (knee) and Kelechi Osemele (knee).
|Daryl Smith will resume manning the middle of the Ravens defense in 2014, giving him another shot at over 100 total tackles. He hit that last year but of his 123 hits only 57 were solo. But he had five sacks, three interceptions and 19 passes defensed. Even at the ripe old age of 32, Smith is expected to keep delivering numbers for the Ravens. There's still some concern about whether he'll be as good as he was last season, but he's fine to start the season with as a borderline No. 1/No. 2 linebacker. Just don't reach for him -- he's barely worth a mid-round pick.
