Jaguars activate LB Smith: Jacksonville activated linebacker Daryl Smith off injured reserve on Saturday, reports the Florida Times-Union. To make room for Smith, who was out with a groin injury, the Jaguars placed safety Dwight Lowery on injured reserve, ending his season with a foot injury sustained at Miami last week.

Smith missed the first 14 games due to the groin issue. He's expected to make his first appearance in a game since last year's season finale against Indianapolis. That said, Smith isn't expected to become a major Fantasy IDP option right away. He can be avoided in Fantasy at this time.
