| Fantasy Analysis |
Smith is a big pass rusher who has lost some of his appeal over the years. He's posted 6.5 sacks or less each of the last three years. As a defensive lineman he's not a bad option for Fantasy purposes but lumping him in with the outside linebackers really makes him less appealing because other linebackers will outproduce him easily. Smith is no better than a low-end option so long as he's a linebacker. A trade to a 4-3 team in need of a pass rusher would help his value rebound.

One-year deals likely to remain prevalent through next offseason
One-year deals for free agents have been plentiful this offseason. Pat Kirwan that should create a glut for free agency in 2014, which should yield even more one-year deals.

Report: Saints place tender on Chris Ivory, two others
The New Orleans Saints have placed a second-round tender on running back Chris Ivory, a restricted free agent. The Saints have also reportedly used the designation on center Brian de la Puente and defensive end Junior Galette.

Mock draft No. 2: Chiefs' moves open door for Milliner to go No. 1
The Chiefs are solving needs (Alex Smith, Dwayne Bowe and Branden Albert), which leads me to believe a quarterback or an offensive tackle will not be their top pick. If they can't trade out, then Dee Milliner makes the most sense.
