Chicago Bears 2014 offseason preview
With the 2013 season officially in the books the Eye on Football staff is looking ahead to the offseason for all 32 NFL teams. Next up: The Chicago Bears.
|D.J. Williams has a lot to prove in Chicago after a tough year in 2012. Williams was suspended for nine games last year following a conviction in August of driving while ability-impaired, his second alcohol-related offense since joining the league. The hope now is that he can regain his pre-2012 form then he could be a steal for IDP owners with a late-round pick. Prior to last year, Williams had at least 90 total tackles in four of the past five seasons, and he had 10.5 sacks in the past two years. Keep an eye on his role with the Bears. He might be worth a late-round flier. (Updated 4/25/13) |
