Fantasy Analysis
Wilson's career high in tackles is especially impressive when you consider he missed three games earlier this season with a neck issue. Between the tackles and the occasional interception, he's a borderline No. 1 DB in Fantasy IDP leagues. (Updated 01/01/2012).
12/24/2011 16:36 Tebow, Broncos stalled by Bills
Jairus Byrd and Spencer Johnson returned Tim Tebow interceptions for touchdowns on consecutive plays in the fourth quarter to help the Buffalo Bills snap a seven-game skid and seal a 40-14 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
George Wilson had a career year in 2011, and he will look to back up that performance this season. Wilson had a career-high 106 total tackles (78 solo), and he matched his career high in interceptions (four) and passes defensed (six). He also added one fumble recovery, and that was in just 13 games since he missed three outings with a neck injury. Wilson should continue to play at a high level this year, and we consider him a No. 2 defensive back in IDP leagues. Plan on drafting Wilson with a late-round pick. (Updated 4/25/12)
