Titans add safety Wilson: The Titans have signed safety George Wilson, The Tennessean reports. The Bills had let Wilson go on Feb. 11. He's expected to compete for a starting job. "George is a quality veteran player," Titans general manager Ruston Webster said. "He will contribute for us on the field, but his contributions also will come off the field, in the locker room and in the meetings rooms. He was respected as a football player and a leader during his career in Buffalo, and he will bring that veteran presence to our team." (Updated 2/22/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
It's a nice signing for the Titans and certainly should result in a quality gig for Wilson. He had 104 total tackles last year and has compiled over 100 total tackles in three of his last four seasons. Assuming he starts, Fantasy owners should consider Wilson a borderline No. 2/No. 3 Fantasy DB worth a mid- to late-round pick. (Updated 2/22/13). |
| George Wilson signed with the Titans this offseason, and he should continue to play at a high level with his new team. He had a solid year in 2012 with the Bills. Wilson had 104 total tackles (79 solo) in 2012, and he has at least 100 tackles in three of the past four seasons. The thing Wilson struggled with in 2012 was a lack of interceptions – it was his first season without a pick since 2008. He will look to get back in the turnover column this season, and we consider him a No. 3 defensive back in IDP leagues depending on where he signs. Plan on drafting Wilson with a late-round pick.
