Fantasy Analysis
Orton, 31, has started 69 career games for Chicago, Denver and Kansas City throughout his career. He has compiled 80 touchdown passes and 57 interceptions. He is 35-34 as a starter but struggled in Denver with a 4-9 record in 2010-11. Orton has been more of a No. 2 Fantasy quarterback over the past few years. Now that he's a backup, his value just got lower. He should not be a target on anyone's radar on Draft Day this year. (Updated 03/14/2012).

Matt Cassel is trying to rebound from last year's nightmare season that included a broken hand. He's also trying to prove he's a franchise quarterback. Even though Cassel is scheduled to start for the Chiefs this year, the new regime in Kansas City under coach Romeo Crennel doesn't seem to be all in with him as their long-term starter. He can change that with a strong year, but Fantasy owners need to see him prove it first. He only played in nine games in 2011 before breaking his hand, finishing with 1,713 passing yards 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He had just two games with at least 18 Fantasy points (standard scoring), and that limited production isn't going to make him a starter in Fantasy circles. He does have some quality weapons around him including Dwayne Bowe, and he has a new offensive coordinator in Brian Daboll, but Cassel should be considered just a No. 2 Fantasy quarterback in the majority of leagues because of his disappointing totals. He should only be drafted with a late-round pick, if at all. (Updated 5/24/12)
