Dixon signs with Eagles: The Eagles on Thursday agreed to a two-year deal with quarterback Dennis Dixon. Eagles coach Chip Kelly was Dixon's offensive coordinator his senior season at Oregon, when Dixon threw for 20 touchdowns, rushed for nine more and threw four interceptions. Fantasy Analysis
Dixon will likely have the chance to compete for the starting job with Michael Vick, but most likely he will be a backup option. It's a good insurance move for Kelly to have Dixon since he's familiar with his system, but Dixon isn't talented enough to be a starter in the NFL. Still, he's worth keeping an eye on in training camp because you never know what can happen, especially when it comes to Vick and the Eagles. (Updated 2/14/13).
