Henderson signs with Vikings: Minnesota and linebacker Erin Henderson agreed on a one-year deal on Friday, keeping him with the team. Henderson was one of the few standouts for the Vikings during a trying 3-13 season last year. The Vikings wanted all along to bring Erin Henderson back, but waited for the free agent market to settle down before completing the deal. The delay appeared to irk Henderson, who tweeted his frustrations earlier this week. "Whats crazy is I'm not even asking for big money," Henderson tweeted. "All I want is respectable money for what I'm asked to do." Terms of the deal were not immediately available, but it appears that he got what he wanted. Henderson had said that he was willing to take a hometown discount to stay with the Vikings and around his young son. (Updated 03/23/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
The one-year deal offers Henderson the freedom to cash in on a bigger contract next season if his improvement continues. Henderson finished the year with 70 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Fantasy owners should view him as a viable linebacker option in IDP formats on Draft Day. (Updated 03/23/2012).
03/18/2012 21:54 Top 30 free agents: Time to restock for the second wave
From Pat Kirwan's original list of the top 30 free agents, Matt Flynn became the 23rd to lock up a new deal Sunday. But there's another wave of signings coming, and Kirwan factors in newly available players to a revamped 30.
While E.J. Henderson might not be in the Vikings' plans, his younger brother Erin Henderson is. Erin signed a one-year deal and could work his way into a regular role with the Vikings. He had 70 total tackles in part-time play for much of last season, so he has some potential. He's worth a late-round pick on the chance he can step up his game and be productive. (Updated 4/24/12)
