The conventional wisdom had a bulkier end anchoring the left side of the defense with the pass-rush star on the right. Len Pasquarelli says Mario Williams' request to man the left side in Buffalo shows changing times.
Chris Long had a career year in 2011 and he now has high expectations coming into 2012. Long had a career-high 13 sacks last season and he looked to be a solid pass rusher for the first time in four years. He also added 37 total tackles with one forced fumble. Long should be considered a No. 2 defensive lineman on Draft Day, worth taking with a late-round pick. This is a contract year for Long and we hope he takes advantage of it with a big season.
