Anderson big on turnovers: Panthers LB James Anderson, who had a season-high 17 tackles last week, wasn't quite as productive in that category Week 15 at Houston, finishing with six (five solo). He did, however, contribute two turnovers, recording his second interception of the season and also recovering a fumble. (Updated 12/18/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Anderson now has 123 tackles on the season, which is obviously the main reason you start him in Fantasy, but it's nice to know he can do other things even when the tackles aren't there for him. Keep him active as a high-end LB in Fantasy IDP leagues. (Updated 12/18/2011).
James Anderson put together a smashing season just in time to test free agency. Playing in the middle of the Panthers defense, Anderson totaled 130 tackles (101 solo) with 3.5 sacks, five passes defensed, an interception and two forced fumbles. He is staying put in Carolina for the next five years, but it remains to be seen if he'll be as productive. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect huge stats from him again in 2011 -- consider him no better than a No. 3 LB worth a middle- to late-round pick. There are much safer stud linebackers and always tacklers who come out of the woodwork, so there's no sense in risking a valuable pick on Anderson. (Updated 7/27/11)
