Royal enjoys quality return: San Diego wide receiver Eddie Royal tallied three catches for 39 yards during the Chargers' 27-17 victory over the Jets in Week 16. Royal returned to the lineup following a four-game absence because of a hamstring issue and collected a team-high seven targets from Philip Rivers.

Royal's return provided a boost to the Chargers' ailing receiving corps after Malcom Floyd landed on season-ending injured reserve last week. His target total represented his highest amount of the season as he posted 13.0 yards per catch. Unfortunately, he was passed over for looks near the end zone as two other players had touchdowns. Leave Royal on waivers in most Fantasy formats for the rest of the year.
