Peterson salvages day with late TD: Vikings RB Adrian Peterson didn't have his best performance Week 12 against the Bears, rushing for 85 yards on 25 carries and losing a fumble, but he did score a touchdown on a 5-yard run late in the fourth quarter. He also had two catches for 18 yards and lost a fumble.

Fantasy Analysis

Peterson has rushed for 100 yards only once in his last five games and only three times this season. He no longer has to carry the Vikings offense now that QB Brett Favre has reemerged as an elite passer, but he's still plenty talented and is averaging more than a touchdown per game. He's still a top running back in Fantasy even if he's no longer the clear No. 1. Keep him active for Week 13 at Arizona.
