Talib settles in with Patriots
by Bill Passonno \| CBSSports.com (3/16/13) Veteran defensive back Aqib Talib agreed to a one-year, $5 million to remain with the Patriots for the upcoming season, sources told CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora on Saturday. New England obtained Talib from Tampa Bay last November and finished with 19 tackles and an interception in six games.

Pats done with Talib?
by Dave Richard \| Senior Fantasy Writer (2/6/13) Comcast Sportsnet reports the Patriots have concerns about giving cornerback Aqib Talib a multi-year deal. The source said Talib didn't do extra work this year and there are questions about how a longer, richer contract will affect him. The Pats could aim for a one-year deal with Talib instead.

Thigh issue affecting Talib
by Bill Passonno \| CBSSports.com (1/20/13) New England defensive back Aqib Talib left in the first quarter of Sunday's AFC Championship Game at New England with an apparent thigh injury, the team announced. His return was questionable. Talib knocked away a pass by Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and immediately started to hobble. He walked to the sideline under his own power and was examined by team doctors before heading to the locker room.
