Cardinals will cut Doucet : The Arizona Republic reports Saturday that the Cardinals will release wide receiver Early Doucet, in order to save $1.7 million on their salary cap. Doucet finished last season with just 207 yards on 28 catches.

Fantasy Analysis
Doucet's role with the Cardinals was diminished last season, mostly because of the play at quarterback. He will not hit free agency looking to land with another club, so we'll keep an eye on his status moving forward. Doucet showed some flashes of productivity in 2011 when he caught 54 passes for 689 yards and five touchdowns, but should be ignored in the majority of Fantasy formats on Draft Day.
