Timmons leads the way : Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons was all over the field in Week 16 against the Rams. Timmons finished with a team-high 11 tackles, eight solo, in the 27-0 victory. Fantasy Analysis
Timmons, in his fifth NFL season, was finally able to record his first sack on Saturday. He now has 87 tackles on the year and can be considered a low-end Fantasy LB heading into the regular season finale against the Browns. (Updated 12/24/2011).
Lawrence Timmons exploded in 2010, totaling 135 tackles with three sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and nine passes defensed. That created a lot of career-highs for Timmons, especially in tackles as his previous career-high was 78 total (set in 2009). Timmons has a lot to live up to in 2011, but he's entering a contract year and could be in line for a pay day much like James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley received over the last few years. Don't get too excited over Timmons and figure him for a No. 2 Fantasy LB worth a mid-round pick at best. (Updated 5/2/11)
