Time to shy away from Ahmad Bradshaw?
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(10/1/14) Fantasy owners who had been relying on Ahmad Bradshaw since his two-touchdown effort against the Eagles in Week 2 lucked out when he found the end zone on a 15-yard pass from Andrew Luck in the fourth quarter Week 4 against the Titans. He hadn't played much of a role up to that point, finishing the game with just 11 touches.

Looking back, even when he seemed like such a find those first two weeks, he wasn't getting all that many touches. His value was largely a function of him playing a bigger-than-expected role in the passing game, but he has just two catches in each of his last two games.

Bottom line: I'm getting nervous about using Bradshaw in Fantasy. He played only 36 percent of the Colts' snaps in Week 4, down from about 60 percent the first two weeks. The Colts seem content with the plodding Trent Richardson carrying the load, using Bradshaw as just a change-of-pace guy.

Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard still like him for Week 5 at Baltimore, ranking him among their top 20 running backs, but I think his luck finally runs out. The Ravens rank seventh against the run, allowing 82.5 yards per game, and have given up the seventh-fewest Fantasy points to running backs this season.

Colts still getting both backs involved
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/28/14) The Colts are just going to keep giving Trent Richardson the ball. We just have to accept it.

He racked up another 20 carries in Week 4 against the Titans, despite rushing for just 47 yards. He made up for the typically mediocre running performance with his first rushing touchdown of the season, along with 52 yards through the air.

Of course, his understudy continues to lose playing time as Richardson's role grows, though Ahmad Bradshaw has remained Fantasy relevant in spite of that. He caught another touchdown Sunday, his fourth in three games, despite carrying the ball just nine times yet again.

The good news is, both players seem to have very defined roles in the offense at this point. Richardson is the workhorse, whether he deserves to be or not, while Bradshaw remains a force in the passing game. The Ravens have done a solid job against running backs this season, but both Bradshaw and Richardson should be considered decent options for Week 5's matchup.

Ahmad Bradshaw scores in third straight game
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(9/28/14) Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw used a fourth-quarter touchdown to extend his scoring streak to three games during a 41-17 win Week 4 vs. Tennessee.

Bradshaw hauled in a 15-yard touchdown catch with 9:56 remaining to record the final points of the game. It was Bradshaw's fourth receiving touchdown this season.

He finished with 32 rushing yards on nine carries and two catches for 20 yards. The Colts are back in action Week 5 vs. Baltimore.

Colts veterans get the day off Wednesday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9/24/14) Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne and running back Ahmad Bradshaw received a day off Wednesday.

It was a veteran's day off, and neither player is dealing with an injury at the moment. The Colts should have both guys back Thursday.

Trent Richardson's playing time eclipses Ahmad Bradshaw's
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/22/14) For the first time all season, Trent Richardson saw the field more than Ahmad Bradshaw in Week 3 against the Jaguars, according to StampedeBlue.com, a Colts blog.

Richardson has shown signs of life over the last few games, and the team rewarded him with 38 of the team's 74 offensive plays. Bradshaw, on the other hand, was limited to just 25 snaps, despite averaging more yards per rush and reception. Entering Week 3, Bradshaw had played 29 more snaps than Richardson through the first two games.

The Colts are heavily invested in Richardson finding his way, and if Sunday's game is any reflection, the team is starting to reflect that in the workload. Keep an eye on this moving forward, Fantasy owners.
