Browns sign TE Barnidge: The Browns and tight end Gary Barnidge have agreed to a contract, placing another former player under Rob Chudzinski in Cleveland. The two worked together in Carolina. According to the agent of Barnidge, the player took the Browns deal because of the money and the chance to be "the guy" at tight end, according to the Charlotte Observer.
