| Chris Carr signs with Saints |

(11:48 am ET) The Saints have signed cornerback Chris Carr to a contract. He'll battle for a spot along the team's depth chart in training camp. He might also contribute to special teams as a return man. Carr has six interceptions over eight seasons, none since 2010 with the Ravens.

(10/2/12) The Chargers announced Tuesday they signed veteran cornerback Chris Carr. “Chris is an experienced player,” head coach Norv Turner said, per the team's official website. “I was fortunate to be with him for a couple years in Oakland. He’s bounced around the league a little bit but has played at a high level. He’s been a starter in a couple of places so he brings experience. He can play in the slot and on the outside, so he’s a good addition for us.”
